It's too charmed for what their circumstances are. Why they're here to begin with. It shouldn't be indulged.
But they'll do it anyway because that's the lesson from Carmilla, in the end? Do all of this before something happens and potentially removes the opportunity to do it ever again.]
What that sounds like to me is I take a day and a half, because the morning will be exhausting in a way that traveling isn't.
