Works differently for them. They use the poison to kill off whatever part of them is in contact with the silver, so that it can't keep them from transforming. Then, they turn human. If it works, their body rearranging undoes the worst of the poison. If it doesn't, they die.
I'd have suggested you try transforming, but I don't think yours works the same way? Or- I really don't know. That shit's- never read up on that shit.
