[There's a railing to hang onto at least. It's the tiniest mercy, one that shouldn't be considered a mercy in the first place - just a natural part of architecture. Yet here it is a lifeline, in the way it takes some of the weight and exertsion away.

Almost there Trevor says and it feels like miles to go. It's miles still to the chair, even with the sensation of touch in his hair.

He's breathing hard by the time ass is in chair. Eyes closed, aware of the way the still healing cut on his thigh is threatening to bleed again.]
