[It was Sypha who found the rum bottle, in the end. Alucard was washing his hair while Sypha was looking for something in the medicine cabinet, and had found a suspicious bottle instead. It had taken a few minutes to figure out who the bottle belonged to, and then the question of what to do with it began.
Neither of them were surprised, in the end. Trevor's life was a hard one (is), and so using drink to cope with even just the horrors of the Great War made perfect sense. If it was something that they should allow to continue though, that was the question. So they had simply removed the bottle and squirreled it away somewhere else, if only to start a conversation about how badly it was needed.
The answer presented itself a little too quickly. Both of them had noticed Trevor's state by noon, ad there were worried glances exchanged throughout the day. Now, with one third of them in bed (one of Sypha's radio shows broadcasts late at night), the vampire is the one who hears the shuffling of bottles and spilling of pills in the medicine cabinet.
