[ He's taken his knitting back to his room, by now, and is perched on the end of his bed working on it. Dinner was more pleasant than usual, but it's still a lot of people-ing for one day. And- it's not like there are no other places within the castle that he could work, but this is the place that feels least like he's in a place that he doesn't know and that doesn't want him.
The curtain pole is leaning against a wall (he likes it. and so he just. doesn't have curtains. and takes care not to stand in front of the window while dressing). There's a neat stack of his sister's dog photographs on the desk. Near enough everything else is dedicated to information, from a small copy of that map he was working on making earlier, to the small and incomplete list of vampires active in other states, to Florence and Agatha's notes and a selection of glyphs drawn on paper.
(He's got it into his head that maybe Sypha would want a Potatobrand, and so he's working on a new one. From the looks of it, it's going to turn out basically spherical. A Fat Potatobrand.)
There's no noise other than the clicking of knitting needles. He's quiet and seems- content-ish? Which is a lot as far as the Belmont goes. ]
