Oh, he's known in it, but hardly a part of that society's fabric. He didn't have to be. The weight of the name Dracul was all that was ever needed.
Sypha's hands keep him from sinking too far into that sea of swirling, churning, nightmare thoughts. His eyes are on her, uncertain and unsure and he's still not clear on what any of this is beyond a wild emotional ride.
