Is that my name?
[ It’s a genuine question. And also, probably not one that Alucard can conclusively answer (it’s probably not his name). He considers it and then opens and closes a two-fingered hand. ]
I have nearly all of my body, now.
[ YES. ALUCARD CAN SEE THAT. ]

Something like that. It’s something like that.
[ He picks up the blanket, holding it in front of him for a moment. ]
My dick isn’t cold.
[ But he does, at least, rest the blanket over his lap. ]

Another two sennights, if enough of them want to join me.
[ Not all moths want to become part of something bigger than themselves, feel the calling to follow Sypha and that little jewelled box she wears around. Maybe just under half. Even by fairy understanding it’s a lot to ask for them to give up themselves as individuals to be part of a larger whole, especially when that larger whole is still forming. They get a life longer than a month or so, the ability to do and comprehend things that they could never have done alone. But they lose themselves. ]
Then I’ll wake up, and I’ll be able to tell me what I am. I’m- excited for that, I think.
[ He’s still a lot of combined moth brains trying to put things together based on an understanding of the world mostly gleaned from overhearing snippets of Alucard and Sypha’s conversations. He isn’t entirely sure what ‘excited’ is, but it sounds right. ]

[Well, he is indeed in the spot where he had stated that she could find him, and there is a glimmer of amusement in her eyes as she moves towards Alucard. Her gaze does flicker up as he rises with a seemingly easy motion, and yes, affection is certainly one way to get Sypha to not buy who know how many pounds of gummy bears. She may have been a little giddy last night, and he had been too cute to pass up teasing, even if it had been with sweets.]
Shall we discuss terms?
Shall we discuss terms?
[A quick glance, before Sypha settles herself on the couch, drawing her feet up under her. One eyebrow arches ever so as she leans, draping one arm over the back of the furniture. Her eyes dance over him as she tops her head to one side.]
And what do you offer to the gummy army, and it's leader?
And what do you offer to the gummy army, and it's leader?
[ Sypha can't come here, not tonight. No matter how fascinated she is by the idea of attending one of the Queen's parties. Trevor isn't sure whether he wishes she could or not - she would love it here, fill herself with enough stories to last her a lifetime. Drink them from jeweled goblets. But she would be in the presence of the queen, in the most dangerous place that one can be on the shortest night of the year.
'Here' isn't anywhere in particular. It isn't the beautiful lands, but nor is it anywhere in Wallachia. It's a space between worlds, one that will only exist until morning, a place that operates on the logic of dreams, formed from the stuff of them. It's a few hours or a few days - one can never tell, at these events - into the gathering when the queen claps her hands. The food turns to ash, the wine to vinegar, the music to silence. ]
My beloved subjects. I ask that you honour my dearest guest. It is so terribly rare that his kind attend our summer celebrations.
[ Alucard almost certainly cannot remember choosing to come here. He never chose to come here, after all, he is simply here because the queen willed it so - and she may well be telling the truth, that she invited him here only because she found the idea of a vampire being able to attend the celebration of endless sunlight amusing. She doesn't care enough for the affairs of the individual families to have any motivation connected to the Belmonts' dealings, though Dracula is not so below her notice and this could be a deliberate move to demonstrate her power over him. It's hard to tell, with Titania.
Leon is the first to move, but it's Trevor who reaches Alucard's side first. He slips an arm into his to lead him before the queen, whispering as he does. ]
Don't look at her. Just don't look at her, and we can keep you safe.

[Name them? Oh, Sypha could do just that, but where would the fun be in it? No, she would rather show her terms to him, as her lithe fingers sought purchase on his shirt, tugging downward even as she leaned forward to initiate a far deeper and longer kiss than he had offered.]
Something more like that.
Something more like that.
As few as you can manage.
[ Trevor glows softly in the everlasting twilight, the thick fur and eyed wings replaced with long, semi-transparent, luminescent ones with long, thin tails dragging across the ground behind him. Yes he's completely changed species for a party.
Above them both, Titania speaks. A songbird accompanies her voice, high and sweet. ]
My most honoured guest. You must be so dreadfully hungry. Please, take your fill.
[ The singing stops. There is a crunch. Something red dribbles down past Alucard. It's a trap. To take the blood is taking food from her. To fail to do so is insulting her. Trevor reaches out, catching the songbird blood in his hands to offer it to Alucard.
It's dangerous, to undermine the Queen like this, but it's not technically against any rules and it offers Alucard a third option, to take at least a drop of the blood and avoid the risk of insult but to do so without owing the Queen. ]
Offered freely.

[ Fuck.
He'd counted on Alucard trusting him, on being willing to take at least a little of the blood from him. he would ask nothing in return, and the queen would have no cause to take insult. Something impossibly bright falls onto Trevor's wrist, followed by a hiss and the smell of burning flesh. The blood bubbles and boils until he's forced to spill it to the ground. ]
Did you not hear the dear prince, child? He does not require blood at this time. Put aside that dreadful swill.
[ Her voice is still sweet as anything, but she burns brighter. ]
Very well, my most honoured guest. You will join us in our celebration until dawn, and we will offer no more. Harm none of my people, and I will return you to your bed at first light.

[Her plan is not only better, but it is nicer, is it not?
Those hooded blue eyes regard him as he makes that noise, not releasing her grip, even if she knows that he could outmatch her strength wise. Sometimes it's not about that though, as physical is not the only strength that can be had. Still, it is a pleasant noise, she thinks, one that vibrates in his chest as he makes it, felt on her own skin in turn.
And yes, most certainly more like that...
Her grip tightens, and she has no doubt that he is provoking her with the choice of speed. She is of two minds in that regard, as she can either press her own advantage, or linger for a moment in his. She chooses the latter for the time being, simply savouring the feeling of his mouth over hers, the press of his fingers on her hip, and the almost delicate way he cups her cheek.
Yet she is the conquering force, is she not? Her free hand moves to slip over his shoulders, fingers splaying in to his hair, as she pushes herself up and against him. He may have her at a disadvantage standing, but here she can rise to her knees, until she is the one towering, to give a small flick of her tongue against a fang.]

-he will put me upon a stick. You know very well that he will put me upon a stick.
[ The rabbit is complaining when they near the rest of the Belmonts. Trevor squeezes back, the skin of his hand loose with blisters from the boiling blood. It's as light a punishment as the queen could possibly offer. Juliet - the rabbit girl - continues her complaining. Dracula won't hear any message from her, and he won't tolerate her coming near his wife with word either. To get a message to him successfully would take the entire night in the mortal world - weeks, perhaps, in time here. Also, she doesn't want to be murdered by Dracula! Also, she doesn't want to miss the party. Leon cannot take any message by night. The eldest, Leontine, doesn't see what they owe Dracula and his house anyway. Enid, the middle child, doesn't care tremendously either way. ]
How long? [ Trevor asks cautiously, and all eyes fall upon Alucard. ] How long can you go without food or blood?
