[Recovery only feels like it happened in retrospect. Day after day, all progress is incremental and slow to the point of agony. Looking back on it though, it's remarkable. Humans still can't heal that fast, and the best of it means Trevor is in his right mind rather than on all the painkillers. As nice as unguarded Trevor was, their Trevor is far more important.

The presence of other Belmonts is something Alucard has grown used to. He doesn't like it, his father really doesn't like it, but it provides enough peace of mind for them both. Dracula's opinion on things generally is at I hate this but it's happened these days, but Alucard has been home during daylight hours more. There have been close calls with the Church lately. Daytime protection is sometimes required.

Right now though, Alucard's thoughts are so terribly far from anything that isn't his immediate surroundings. The gazebo, which even his father hasn't invented yet, is good. He doesn't feel trapped at all, just take someplace where there is time and quiet and indulgence in all of the very best ways. Besides, it's an architectural marvel, and he could gaze at it on that alone. (It'd be interesting, trying to make wooden structures from still going trees.) The rest of it is all atmosphere, wonderfully cool breezes and pastels that paint the sky brilliant.

There's enough yellow in the stained glass to make him practically glow right now, sitting with his back to Trevor while the Belmont does as he wishes. The other two adore playing with his hair, dont' they?]

You two really should grow yours out more so that I'm not the only one that gets their hair played with like this.
