Because that informs so much of how we get you out of here.

[If they even can. Alucard's eyes follow the twine, and then he steps forward to really look. Determine what can be removed with ease and no harm versus what they'll have to keep in place until Carmilla is dead and they can leave this castle of horrors.

His fingers fly out to the twine around Trevor's left arm, tracing it down to the Vampire Killer. Okay. That part? That can be cut withouth much problem at all, but Alucard starts at the part that binds vampire killer to Trevor's hand. He's slow as he undoes the stuff, sharp nails against the sacred thing. It doesn't hurt. Barely registers.

And then he moves up to the left arm. The flesh below isn't dead. Just straining for blood, and so Alucard's next part is so delicate. He loosens the binding inch by inch by inch, Sypha providing the light and looking at the rest of Trevor to try and assess what must be done next.

Carmilla will enter soon. Alucard knows that. But he can provide some relief. Stop the worst of her plans. He'll do it or he'll take her head.]
