[Alucard's hands are just to keep Trevor in place so nothing goes awry or askew in the moment. Usually this moment would involve fangs, and fangs carry danger with them.

Such as it is, it's just for contact. Alucard's tongue finds it's way to the source of the blood, and it stays there for a long moment, every second another chance for blood to gather and coat Alucard's tongue. Once it feels as if no more can be taken (and that air is required), his tongue withdraws.

But it returns, still hungry and wanting, intenser this time. For with more blood there is healing, and the effect of the morphine wanes.]
