Occasionally, his mind screams at him to seek out Alucard (an unconscious attempt at a summoning in moments of danger, not that either of them know it). But he can ignore it. He does ignore it.

It’s the very early hours of the morning when he knocks on the clinic door, antlers and wings hidden behind glamours, with a person in his arms.
