[ He slings an arm over Alucard's shoulder, pulling himself closer. This is- strange, when there's no necessity behind it. He's usually the one to pick up and move about the others, regardless of Alucard being the strongest of them by far. It's nice. It'll be nicer given a little more time between it and the discussion of the last time this happened.
By all accounts, he's been likely to lose his place in the middle this year, with winter stretching on so long. And also because he's been burying himself in his work, and there's no way to get out from the middle without disturbing Sypha's rest. It'll be summer before long, and unless it's also unseasonably cold then that'll be time for Alucard to go there. So it's something of a rare treat lately to lie here, Sypha's arms around his shoulders to reach for Alucard and her legs coiled around his own, Alucard cool against his chest, warming slowly like stone in the sun.
He misses out on a lot when he keeps himself from feeling. ]
I'm sure you'll manage. Consider this permission to be fucking ridiculous and sappy with it.

In the mean time, there's getting comfortable. Alucard's one arm around Trevor's middle so he can reach Sypha's arm and hang on. His other hand returning to the task of stroking Trevor's hair, the motion slow and tender and trying not to melt into sap. (He is failing.)
Nights like this are simply about being. Not recovering, not mending, just having the moment. Owing to past events, it isn't as frequent as it ought to be. They're working on that though. Every night like this a step forward in fixing the matter.
[ The way he says that is awfully confrontational for someone who looks so very, completely stupid with joy and warmth. But then, that's probably why he's so sure about this. It'll only be one time anyway, after all, unless he fails to regret it enough to ask for it again. May as well let him have his fun.
Besides, it's future Trevor's problem. Present Trevor is too content to care about that guy, because right now they're all three of them tangled together and it's perfect. ]
[Alucard's laugh is soft and warm and he presses against the top of Trevor's head as it ripples out so he can feel it both from Alucard's chest and from his breath. It's so content, full of joyful anticipation, and okay. Planning. Because he's got an idea now.
Future Trevor and Future Sypha are so just getting floated into their marriage bed.]
