Current Carmilla plot outline
--Post-fire, Carmilla and Mr. Peanut team up mostly to use each other. Carmilla's spent the past several months (since November, it is now February 1925) networking, and it's clear to her that Alucard's not suited for the position and that the other two are the obvious weakness. Mr Peanut needs something back, so this is perfect on her end. Mr Peanut can only imagine the joys of vampire blood in his work, and he'd like an army of vampires for his own ends.
--Shit stirring from Mr Peanut (all of March?)
--Mr Peanut also begins to sell mis Miracle Serum, which has vampire blood in it.
--Gang is very much trying to murder Mr Peanut during this.
--Start of April, vampire gets a call from one of the blood bank contacts that 3 patients have come in and are displaying some bizarre signs. Investigation yields the fact that they're in process of turning, and they've all taken the same serum.
--Additional investigation reveals O FUCK IT MR PEANUT
--Meanwhile Carmilla's been made aware of a familiar she didn't sire, so she knows something's up. Big fight with Mr. Peanut and thus Mr. Peanut is left depowered
--Gang commits a murder
--Carmilla's well sured up on her contacts now, and it's time for open rebellion (mid-April)
--In a more subtle attempt to let Alucard just step aside, she cuts the breaks on demon car and shows up to gloat/suggest he not pull a dad and go to deal with his grief quietly while she runs the city. The how he wants to do it is up to him (black widow joke goes here.) Treffy and Sypha walk in.
--1 week of straight up rebellion; feedings, no help from allies, need to do damage control instead of fight carmilla, every dracula rule is
--MEANWHILE IN GRAVITY FALLS, triangle shows Vlad what's up to try and psyche him out, somehow this finalyl snaps Vlad out of his depression and he heads home
--Just in time for Alucard and Carmilla to be tearing each other to bits in one of the bayous, it's not going well
--Vlad coming in means the king of vampires is accosted by a belmont with a pair of blessed knitting needles and a speaker with a fucking gun and he's just like what the shit happened to the world while i was gone
--Wards around the fight means that only demon car can break the wards, everyone has to pile in.
--Carmilla gets her ass kicked AND SENT TO THE JUSTICE DIMENSION
THEN THERE WERE FAERIES.
--Prior to all of this the vampire and Sypha have done a shit ton of research on how to get their Belmont back
--Sypha has also been practicing debating with dad, which leaves everyone Very Tired.
--When Trevor is actually snatched up (1 year after marriage, it takes fae effort. Taking Arn's shape fails, so it's a lot more kidnapping by force), Sypha and Alucard go into Faerie
--But they're playing this as politics, not as heroes rescuing their damsel, so that means the faeries are just "wait what now excuse u?"
--There are 3 gates and 3 trials (the particulars we're still bullshitting.) Each is asked to sacrifice 3 things. (Alucard: voice, his titles as bestowed upon by his father and his people, i forget the third; Sypha: her human form (she's a birb), fuck what were the other two)
--They enter the court at the end of the third trial. After LITERALLY ALL THE TITLES Sypha declares she Speaks for Trevor Belmont
--Claim debate over Trevor, turns out that the rules are in Sypha's favor.
--But that means debating to leave Fae without giving up what they've chosen.
--Sypha lawyers it all out, Alucard is a safety deposit and hangs out with Fae!Trevor
--In the end, safe passage out of Faerie consists of Sypha giving up her memory of the necromancer (billed as a great mage she studied under), the vampire gives up his immortality, and Trevor is replaced with Carmilla (dad was aware of this option and OK with it), but Trevor has his ability to swear taken. He now soundslike a rubber ducky when he tries
--Everyone gets home okay, except for the AU of this AU where the gang fails, but Trevor's on their doorstep like a bat out of Hell because time doesn't work right and he's been in Hell for a WHILE.

[He's going to grin because he is RIGHT and he knows it.]
Yes. Me. A terrible influence who you decided to take a liking to while I was bleeding everywhere.
no subject
[And speaking of being headstrong, she's going to take that as open invitation to reach over and carefully move his sandwich out of his lap so that she can fill the now-vacant space with herself, instead.]
So I decided to be kind to you, and look how I have been repaid. Such a terrible influence.
[This condemnation doesn't carry a whole lot of weight when she's in the process of leaning up to kiss him, naturally.]
no subject
There's a content hum from the vampire as Sypha declares his lap hers now. Being smaller means that it's an easy thing to wrap both his arms around her and rest his chin atop her head, enveloping her entirely. They've done this plenty of times over the past several weeks, but never in public. Never like this.]
Repaid in sandwiches and a room that has a dresser full of little drawers. I suppose only one of those counts as a bad influence.
[It's perfect, the kiss. All carefully angled lips and Alucard's hair getting in the way juuuuuuust right, preventing anyone else from seeing a moment so soft and intimate.]
You're a worse one though, [he says it only after the kiss breaks.] Brazenly kissing me for the world to watch.
no subject
[She would clap her hands, except for the fact that to do it she'd have to move them off of his shoulders, and she's absolutely not going to do that, not for anything. Not when she's going to chase that first kiss with a second and a third, each much quicker and more fleeting, playful like she can't get enough of him and has to keep coming back for more.]
And if you object to my kisses, I can stop. If you want me to.
[She tempts, with a grin.]
no subject
[To prove his point, the vampire makes quick work of all these quick and fleeting kisses. Unfair and he's greedy right now, so his kiss is firmer. The kind that begs the other person to stay, stay and be selfish a moment longer.]
no subject
[They're really carrying on, aren't they, out in the open and yet somehow so deliciously anonymous, desperately in love and chasing passion between them for as long as they can hold on to it. It's the same sweet fervor as they'd shared back before, when they'd thought she was leaving in a smattering of days, except that now there's no sobering deadline on the horizon, except perhaps the imminent sunset that will put a damper on their ability to stay anonymous.]
Besides, if I were being brazen, you would know it. This is...subdued, I think.
no subject
[He smiles when he says it, because they have terrible standards for subtle. It's a thing born of the first few dates, Alucard knows that much. They had run headlong into something they weren't sure the timeframe of, and for that subtle was pointless. Now it would always be as such in the face of much greater things.
Alucard pauses, grinning down at her.]
We could be more brazen, if you'd like.
no subject
[She hums a little, basking in the warmth of his grin —
(how natural it is for him now, to see him grin, to see that flash of his teeth glimmering behind lips pulled back in delight when he'd looked so sad when she'd met him, his face filthy, his chest a mess of blood and tattered skin, how he'd wept so much from his sadness and his isolation and even when she'd run back to him he'd been so shattered, so fractured, and now look at him, look at him soaking in the sunlight and wearing a smile that comes so easily to his face)
— and lets it draw out one of her own, the edges of her mouth turning up in his infectious mirth.]
I have a few ideas myself, but I want to hear yours.

Alucard's arms move low to Sypha's hips, and he leans back slowly so that Sypha is dragged along with him. It means that the protection of the coat is not provided to him or his hair, and so yet again his hair is lying down in the grass. Beautiful and green this time, not the ditch with it's yellow-brown dead grossness, and there's still so much sun in the sky.
Dragging Sypha with him also means letting the rest of the world see them both in a suggestive state. It's the opposite of a problem from where the vampire lies, and he'll continue this until she says to stop.
She's close enough for the next kiss to be a deeper one than any before, all open mouthed and begging for Sypha to meet him in kind.]
no subject
[Her hair isn't nearly long enough to fall artfully around them like a curtain, hiding their faces from the world. His is, but it's currently haloed out underneath him, beautiful and long in the grass, and there's something particularly exquisite about the state of being on top of him like this, knowing that he's left vulnerable on his back to just look up at her, and she is the only thing in the world that he can see.]
So it seems we had the same idea, then.
[She picks up a lock of his hair, winding it aimlessly around her fingers; she knows full well what he wants and she deliberately makes him wait for it, relishing how open and unguarded his affection for her is in that moment.
It's only once she's had the chance to enjoy it that she follows him down and kisses him the way he's aching to be, hard and deep and putting her weight into it, claiming in a way that she often isn't, but feels spurred on toward today.]
no subject
It's so cruel with Sypha toying with hair, with her making Alucard wait. He can't find himself minding though, because when she does kiss back, the weight in one fell swoop and the whole thing suggesting the word mine without being said, Alucard is beyond happiness. He's careful as he opens his mouth more, fang not allowed to catch tongue, and the rest of him just holds fast to Sypha's hips.
She's wonderful like this. Warm. Perfect. If his hair is out and acting like a halo, then the afternoon sun is doing the same for Sypha. She's the only thing he wants to acknowledge in the world. Which means he also isn't aware that the sandwiches may be kicked into the dirt by total accident.]
no subject
Another little secret bared for only their eyes to see, she muses. No one around knows who they are, no one sees them as anything other than perhaps a pair of too-shameless lovers enjoying each other in the open air. No one has to know she's a Speaker with no caravan to call her own. No one has to know that he's a prince of the night, abandoned by his father king.]
You are so very beautiful.
[Not precisely the choice of words that tends to be applied to young gentlemen, in the grand scheme of things, but it's the right one for this moment. She always has the right words; it's who she is and what she does.]
no subject
Beautiful has always been the better descriptor for himself, or so has said anyone and everyone around Alucard. He's never fussed about it one way or the other. He only waits a moment for the fang to disappear and be hidden again.]
Mm. You're nearly too radiant at this angle.
[He's seen her magic, seen how fire bends to her intent. It nearly chases away all the other memories.]
no subject
[She's teasing, naturally, and strokes her fingers over the high curve of his cheekbone before bending down again to kiss him.]
If you like it so much, perhaps we should do this more often.
no subject
[He can't give her the world, but he'll try. Try every time. Just like he'll kiss back every time, hold onto her tightly as he does so, then sigh her name with all the contentment in the world when they must break apart for even a moment.]
no subject
[Which is not in any way a protest, just an observation.]
You'll never accomplish anything else, from trying to cater to me.
no subject
I'd be happy with that, you know. Just catering to you.
no subject
[She kisses him again, this time nibbling on his lower lip before she pulls away.]
And you spoil me too much already, as it is.
no subject
What would those things be again?
no subject
[She runs her thumb over his lip, lightly, like she's sealing in the attention she'd shown to it a moment before.]
You are always such a gentleman, and I like that. But sometimes I would like to see you fierce, too. As urgent as you were when we both thought I was leaving, only without the leaving part. Just because you want me so much.
no subject
[They don't know the ways it will manifest in the future. That there will be marks on Sypha's arms to show for it, along with the possessiveness of another as well. Here, now, the vampire can only listen to what is being asked of him, and nod to show that he not only understands, but shall do more.]
Then I shall. [The hands that have rested at Sypha's hips the whole time, holding her firmly but not any more so shift. Wrap around and pull her as close as they can, all while being mindful that too much pressure upwards will force her against his still healing flesh.]
When we're home tonight...
no subject
[As if for emphasis, she twists her fingers in his hair and gives a tug, not hard enough to hurt, but certainly enough to to get someone's attention, if he weren't already attending to her as it is.]
If your fingers left a bruise or two on my hips, from holding me, it would not be such a very grave sin.
no subject
I'll remind myself of that fact. [It will require some undoing of his own control. He's been careful about it ever since...since his mother's death, really, because it has seemed so dangerous to not have it.]
The world is more durable than I think it to be, these days.
no subject
[She pauses, tilting her head almost birdlike as she gazes down at him.]
But by the same token, don't think that I always mind it when you treat me like something fragile and precious, either. Sometimes that feels nice, too. You understand, yes?
no subject
[I understand. More than that, it will be so, because it will make Sypha happy. That's all he wants to do lately, and if that means letting a little bit more fearsomeness out, then so be it.]
It also needs to compete with my selfish desire to just look at you like this as much as I can.
