[Alucard struggles as exhaustion tries to claim him. He can't stop moving until Sypha's done, nothing's allowed until that happens, and so for a few precious moments yet, his hips still rock up, up, up.
It's adrenaline that powers him, along with the heat of Sypha's noises and her breath against his skin. All of this, all of it is perfect, and the only crime involved is that he cannot see her face as she finishes.
Oh, but the look on her face after makes up for it. It's beautiful, practically ringed by a halo of light. He sighs in turn, a soft laugh following the kiss.]
Sypha.
[He utters her name with all the adoration in the world, happiness beaming up.]
[It's acknowledgment of her name, although she doesn't quite have her voice back yet. That's fine, as this is fine. It's perfectly wonderful as her hands slip back down to rest over his shoulders, lazily stroking along his broad back.
Her smile is one of sheer pleasure, glad to have driven that sadness away for a time. Step by step, day by day, they'll fill the void, until it no longer exists as it has. He's as worthy and deserving of love as all of them, and Sypha will continue to remind and show him that until her dying day.]
[Inch by inch, Alucard leans back into the sofa. It's slow so that Sypha's hands are not trapped, and because the fingers that are moving along his back feel so, so good.
He settles there, and one one hand moves up to stroke through her hair. It's a little worse for wear (his must be a downright mess), so that's the excuse Alucard uses to start untangling in earnest. The other hand is slung low around her hips, just holding Sypha close. Just enjoying her proximity. Just....being.]
Perhaps they should remember that vengeance will come.
[The gleam in Sypha's eye is met by something similar in Alucard's. A promise that this is a new back-and-forth, one driven by whimsy and love, manifesting in new ways.
There's a happy sigh that follows. No sadness. Just happy exhaustion, wrapped up in absolute adoration for the Speaker in his arms.]
[Her hands move over his shoulders as he leans back, to settle on his chest, palm down. Her face turns towards his hand, pressing gently against it. She basks in the feeling, that after glow and his embrace.
She doesn't fail to note his expression, and it does send a little thrill down her spine. She may well have opened a box that the lid was better left on, but that is Sypha. She would lift the lid and investigate.]
You shall have to wait and see. I can't give away military secrets so easily.
[He says it softly, words wrapped up in an impossibly warm laugh. It goes far too well with the moment, and in that same moment, there's only one action a vampire can take: he tilts his head just a little, leans in, and presses a soft kiss against Sypha's lips.
It is one of those kisses that doesn't linger long, and it would be almost chaste if it didn't come hot on the heels of the last few minutes.
Likewise for the moment, there's only one good follow up. Alucard breathes out, stupefied with happiness.]
