[ Chariot had no lack of cheese, to be sure. It made for an excellent looking omelette, that she was happy to indulge in. Honestly, this was her favorite sort... Alucard really had come through in the pinch. She took sips of both water and potion as she went along, letting out a sigh as she got midway through her plate. ]

[ Another bite, a sip of her drink, and a deep breath. ]

I did not. [He's entirely even keeled.]

Flattered yes. Pressured? Not at all.

[ A sigh of relief. ]

I'm glad. We'd had that talk, before, about how new all of this was to you, and the last thing I wanted to do was...

[Alucard doesn't exactly blush but it is a very near thing that crosses Alucard's cheeks and through his expression.]

I guess it is a pretty big statement of how far we've both come that we've survived such a particularly awkward situation... [ A nervous laugh. ]

[ A small laugh. ] Yeah, no wine for me for a couple of days. I can't do that level of drinking again.

Though it did make this Litha just as memorable as my first...

Once I was home, yes. The amount of public affection was, as I rather expected, a bit much for me. Better to be home and curled up on a sofa, from where I sit.

[His scandalized face is entirely fake. Promise.]

Ursula was prone to second guessing just about everything she did, but she didn't miss the act.

As it turns out, I have a cupboard full of it. I've been collecting since I arrived. [ Wine wasn't her only indulgence. ]

Oh well. Perhaps I can be bribed with a strong cup.

[It's all a little silly, and he laughs gently at it.]

Besides, what is there to say? Trevor and Sypha are wonderful in every way.

[ Sure, she'd had three evenings of absolute bliss with her SOs, but that was all separated by time and distance. ]

The truth is, I'm not sure my SOs are... compatible that way.

[Meanwhile, a dhampir starts to fiddle with making coffee. Because as you do.]

Well, if you're not certain of that, then it isn't best to press. It is...it is interesting. A lot of careful balance and indulging in just watching others, sometimes. Or being watched.

[ She can feel her face burning, thinking about it, but oh... could she not cease thinking about it, ducking her head and finding the remaining third of her omelette deeply interesting to stare at. ]

It sounds... wonderful, actually.

[Oh dear. He seems to have caused some vivid thoughts.

He's not going to smirk, but he is going to keep going.]

It is. But the best part is just vying with each other to be held by the other two when it's all said and done. I've had few better moments of falling asleep in my life.

It sounds like something out of a romance novel...

[ She sighed, picking a few more bites of her breakfast. ]

As exhausted as I am now, I think handling more than one of them at once would definitely wear me out...

Oh, we're usually inclined to not move most of the day after.

[Alucard has the good grace to look at least a little embarrassed by that fact, and it shows in his little sheepish smile.]

But sometimes just having them both around to snuggle is enough. That much I think you can handle.

It's probably not surprising that's the part I'd wish for most... [ A sip of her drink, a hum. ]

Just... surrounded by their warmth. I'd be so happy.
