idk i grew up internalizing enough poetry and shit about the transient beauty of passing seasons that i kinda just accept when shit happens

but from your perspective maybe you feel like you put too much of yourself in everything you do

But it is interesting to know that you have more awareness than most that I have one foot in the present and one in the past, if only due to my age and work.

Unfortunately for your comment about putting too much of myself into things, I come from a line of extremely dramatic, over the top people who put all of themselves into their actions. I cannot break with my nature.
